하지만 나에겐 "꿈을 그리는 사람"입니다.

패션일러스트-매화 그리고 기억

아래는 3년전 영국 모사이트에서 인터뷰했던 내용입니다.
그당시 포스트를 했지만 글씨가 잘 안보이는데다 사이트가 사라졌네요
구글검색기 돌려가며 쓴거라 말이 이상해도 감안해주시길 ...ㅠ

Can you tell us about your background and why you decided to become an illustrator? 

나는 33세에 그림을 시작하였다. 나는 생활이 힘들어 돈을 벌어야 했다. 하지만 어린 두 아이를 돌보면서 밖에 나가서 일을 할 수  없었다.그래서 나는 집에서 할 수 있는 만화채색 아르바이트를 시작하였다.
나는 미술대학을 다니지 않았고, 미술학원도 다니지 않았다.
나는 힘들었지만 혼자서 열심히 photoshop을   공부하고 그림을 그렸다.
나는 어려서 만화를 좋아해서 패션이미지를 많이 그렸다.
나는 Webtoon 도 좋아한다.하지만 나는 일러스트레이션을 더 좋아한다.
현재 나는 패션일러스트와 광고 , 사보,북일러스트 등 다양한 분야에서 일을 하고 있다.
I started painting at the age of 33.
   Life is difficult to me, it was necessary to earn money. However, it was not able to work to get out while the children take care of two children.
   So, I started working part-time cartoon coloring that can be done at home.
   I did not through the College of Arts, and Academy of Fine Arts did not even pass through.
   I was hard, but it drew a picture to study the photoshop eagerly alone.
   I drew a lot of images of women I like cartoons childhood.
   I also like my Webtoon, but I prefer more illustrations.
   Currently, I draw fashion illustrations, advertising illustrations, company magazine illustration, book illustration.
  I started painting in the part-time job to make money, but not at work now, it became my dream.
   Illustration is a dream of mine.


  What is it about illustration that keeps you drawing?
패션일러스트레이션이다.
나는 아름다운 여성의 얼굴과 차가운 매력을 좋아한다.
덧붙여, 나는 자신감 있는 현대여성을 표현한다.
Is a fashion illustration. I prefer the cold and charm face of a beautiful woman.
In addition, I represent the modern woman who has the confidence

How would you describe your style?
화려하다. 색상이 강렬하다. 블랙과 레드를 좋아한다.
독특하다. 고전적인 아름다움.
차가운 도시여자.
Gorgeous. Color is intense. Like black and red.
Unique. Classic beauty.
Cool urban women.


  Where does your inspiration from and is there a message in your work?
나는 패션 사진을 보고 영감을 떠올린다.
내 그림의 여자는 외로운 도시의 커리어 우먼을 상징한다.
그들의 고독감과 열정, 사랑,상처,배신 등등 다양한 감정을 표현한다.
나는 단순히 세련된 여자만 표현하는게 아니라 화려한 인물뒤에 숨은 감정을 표현한다.
I think of inspiration to look at fashion photography.
   Woman of my painting symbolizes the career woman of a lonely city.
   To express passion and loneliness of their love, scrapes, and betrayal, a variety of emotions.
   I express the emotions hidden behind the flashy person's representation of not only sophisticated woman simply.


  Do you have a process when you are creating new work?
나는 컴퓨터로 작업한다
순간적으로 떠오른 느낌을 곧바로 그린다.
한번 작업하면 5-6시간은 쉬지 않고 계속 그린다.
I want to work with computers
   I immediately draw the impression that pops momentarily.
   Draw in a row and not rest 5-6 hours and a single operation.

  How would you describe the illustration art scene in Korea?  Is there anything you would like to change?
한국의 많은 실력있는 예술가들이 생계 때문에 그림을 포기하고 다른 일을 찾는다.
우리가 분명 고쳐야 할 부분이다.
  정부는 예술을 경제의 논리로 해석한다.  그래서 정부는 경제성이 없다고 판단하여 투자를 하지않는다.
나도 패션일러스트를 그리고 싶지만 내가 돈을 벌 수 있는 곳이 적다.
그래서 나는 상업일러스트를 그려야한다.
Artists with the ability of many of Korea to give up painting for living, they look for other work.
   This is a reality must to fix.
   The government, the interpretation of economic logic of art. So, government is not the investment it is determined that there is no economy.
   Where it is possible to make money is small that I want to draw a fashion illustration of me.
   So, I have to draw a commercial illustration.

 Please tell us about any upcoming work you have?
  한국은 고유의 언어가 있다. 그것은 한글이다.
한글과 패션을 콜라보레이션하는 작업을 진행중이다.
나는 아트상품을 제작한다. 스마트폰 케이스, 프레임액자를 제작한다.
현재 홈페이지에서 판매중이다.
한글의 과학적이며 창의적인 아름다움을 세계에 널리 알리고 싶다.
There is a language of its own Korea. It's Hangul.
   I collaborate fashion illustrations and Hangul.
  I'm making the art products. I manufacture smartphone case, the frame picture frame.
   It is available in our website current.
   I want to inform widely to the world the beauty and creative scientific and Hangul.

If you had to describe yourself in three words what would they be?
  Chic, Passion and sincerity

What would you like to say to UK fans of illustration?   
  내 그림은 당당한 여성을 상징한다. 아름답고 순수한 여성을 꿈꾼다.
외롭고 상처를 받았지만 자신있는 삶을 살기를 바란다.
내 그림은 상처받은 영혼을 위로하는 힐링 일러스트레이션이다.
My painting symbolizes regal women . I dream of a beautiful and pure woman.
   Received the wounds of loneliness, but would like to live my life.
   My painting is healing illustrations comfort the wounded soul.

짧은 글이라 부끄럽지만
결론은 일러스트레이터가 되려면
상황이 어떻든. 나이가 어떻든. 실력이 어떻든.
누구나 할수있다 입니다.꿈을 이루고자하는 노력과 열정이 있다면요..
